What is it?
An action game about hunting huge monsters with friends. You craft weapons and armor from what you carve, then take on tougher targets. This time the stage is a vast land where the weather changes.
Why it matters
Since Monster Hunter: World the overseas fan base has exploded, and the series now sells more abroad than in Japan. Online co-op lets you hunt with players around the world.
The numbers abroad
Capcom says it sold 8 million units in its first 3 days, the fastest in the company's history, and 11.80 million as of June 30, 2026. On Steam it peaked at 1.38 million concurrent players on March 1, 2025.
